We have three categories of members:

  • Student members, who are studying for Honours or PhD
  • Ordinary members, who are Early Career Researchers and have not yet established themselves in an ongoing/permanent position
  • Senior members (or ‘mentors’)

How to join

Sign in to your ASA Profile. Choose the Edit Profile option. Under Group Membership, select ECR Chapter.

Taxes

ASA membership dues can be claimed on Australian taxes as a deduction to taxable income. See below for an example of how this can be implemented under “Other work-related expenses.”
